Terms of service

Use it with care.

These terms describe the practical conditions for using Creative Catcher, an Android security utility that records local evidence after supported failed unlock events and can send a Gmail alert.

Effective September 10, 2026Last updated September 10, 2026

Acceptance of terms

By installing or using Creative Catcher, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

Description of the service

Creative Catcher can observe supported Android failed-unlock callbacks, create a local security event, attempt a front-camera photo and location capture, and—when the user has authorized Gmail—send an alert through that user’s Gmail account. The app does not operate a developer-hosted account or backend, and the current build does not use Google Drive.

Permissions and Android security features

You choose whether to grant camera, location, notification, and other runtime permissions. You also choose whether to activate the consumer Device Administrator capability. Device Administrator is used only with Android’s watch-login policy to receive failed-unlock callbacks; it is not a Device Owner or enterprise management service and does not read your Android PIN, password, or pattern.

Camera, location, and Gmail

Camera and location evidence are attempted only within the app’s event pipeline, subject to permissions, device state, Android version, manufacturer behavior, foreground-service rules, and hardware availability. Gmail alerts require a separate Google authorization step and send-only Gmail access. Alert delivery may include event time, location details, a derived place label, and a captured photo. Your Google account and Gmail use remain subject to Google’s terms and policies.

Authorized device use and privacy of others

You must install and use Creative Catcher only on a device you own or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for complying with privacy, surveillance, employment, recording, data-protection, and other laws that apply where you use it. Do not use the camera, location, or security-event features for unlawful surveillance, harassment, stalking, or abuse of another person.

User responsibilities

  • Keep permissions, Device Administrator activation, battery settings, and Gmail authorization in the state you want.
  • Protect your app-specific PIN and your Google account.
  • Review local events and delete them when no longer needed.
  • Understand that Gmail alerts are sent to the linked account and may be retained there until you delete them.
  • Use the app only for lawful security and evidence purposes.

Availability and Android/OEM limitations

Creative Catcher does not promise to detect every failed unlock attempt, capture a photo, obtain a location, or deliver an alert. Availability depends on Android version, device manufacturer, permissions, system settings, camera and location hardware, battery optimization, background execution rules, network connectivity, Google Play services, and Gmail authorization.

Force Stopping Creative Catcher from Android Settings pauses protection until you manually reopen the app. A normal reboot can restore monitoring state, but Android/OEM restrictions may still prevent background work.

Evidence and accuracy disclaimers

A captured photo may be missing, blurred, delayed, or unusable. Location may be approximate, stale-but-real, unavailable, or less accurate than expected. A recorded event is not a guarantee of identity, intent, timing, or legal admissibility. Do not rely on Creative Catcher as your only security control or evidence source.

Third-party services

Google Identity Services, Google Credential Manager, Google Play services, Gmail, and Android are third-party services or platform components. We do not control their availability, policies, device behavior, storage, or retention. Creative Catcher does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising or unrelated profiling.

Intellectual property

Creative Catcher, its software, branding, and original content are owned by Mohamed Elsamman or its licensors. These terms give you a limited right to use the app for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership.

Privacy

Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy. That policy is part of these terms.

Service changes, disclaimer, and limitation of liability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Creative Catcher as the Android platform, Google services, or the product changes. The service is provided on an “as available” basis, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every device or situation. To the extent allowed by law, Mohamed Elsamman is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss caused by missed detection, failed capture, inaccurate location, delayed/failed delivery, device restrictions, account settings, or third-party services.

Termination and governing law

You may stop using the app at any time by disconnecting services, clearing its data, or uninstalling it. We may discontinue the app or suspend support for versions that are no longer technically or legally supportable. Governing law and venue: Egypt
